In March 2010, the idea to develop a dry powder mix that makes cooking easier was conceived. The company was to come up with a formulation that is natural with no preservatives and no flavor enhancers. All natural fresh ingredients mix in a dry powder form.



The idea came from working long hours and the need to still cook for the family no matter how tired one was/is or how late one gets home.

The process of cooking stew without the associated stress with Idee’s Easy Cook Stew Mix was developed. The developed mix was then researched extensively with consumers in Lagos over a period of one year before arriving at a final winning formulation.


This wining formulation has since been submitted to NAFDAC for clearance and approval. It was approved by NAFDAC on the 1st day of June 2012 with NAFDAC NUMBER B1-1889L. It was launched into the Lagos market on the 9th of June 2012.
