Hello every1, the name GARRI(cassava flour) is a very popular name used by different tribes and ethnic groups. Why is it that igbo, hausa, yoruba and edo and many others call the essential commodity the same name. Pls can any1 tell us from which of these languages the name came from

How come everybody calls same name whereas every other items have their unique name in different lang e.g water, omi, meri etc |

Garri is Derived form Hausa Language. Garri in Hausa mean Powder! |
