Sometimes,I wonder what is wrong with Arsenal. It really pains me to the marrow. I see Arsenal as lacking the winning spirit, no drive to win, no sense of purpose or no sense of urgency. Players play like nothing is at stake; they play like it is a warm-up match or a frendly. We need to wake up if we want to win anything this season. Enough of blaming the coach only. The players also have their faults; the coach/manager instructs while the players skillfully execute. My most recent discovery is that natural intelligence is very important in the game of soccer. It is not just a kick-and-run game. Our defence line needs to be more creative, the middle field more purposeful and the front line sharp, on point, deadly and destructive. We must stop the self-destruct style of play and avoid throwing away our winning advantage through careless, reckless and nonchalant attitude.No need for unnecessary massaging of the leather ball when another player is waiting for a pass or when a shot could catch the opponents' goalie offguard. All that Arsenal fans want are loads of goals and wins and trophies. We must take our rightful place, start to purposefully win matches and end the years of trophy drought....
