The Moving Train In Delta State Is Yet To Stop. by EfeTony6(m): 2:11pm On Dec 04, 2012
Early and late 90ths- Our parents pay for examination fees, and no conducive environment for learning, teachers are nowhere to be found in our classrooms, the private schools took over the education sector, our child refuse to go to school because of hard labour during break. The cement walls were our learning boards, teachers are known through the stains of chalks on their clothes, and many unpleasant things took place.Even the universities where not attended to properly by the  government. What a tragedy.....But
**From 2007 till date - No examination fees, well built structures for learning and properly furnished with computers
and laboratories, increase in student assitance scheme from N10,000 to N20,000.Series of scholarship, both local and international.More polytechnics were introduced, our universities are well built, people come from all worlds of live to study in our institutions.(Finger of God at work)
Early and late 90ths- The private hospital made good money from deltans when our pregnant women visit them. The cost of operation is equivalent to the price of a car then.No doctors in our public hospitals, people die daily due to their inability to pay private hospitals bills. Some of our young girls abandon their children in the hospital after delivery. What a tragedy...But
**From 2007 till date- The era of making huge amount from our pregnant woman has passed, the private hospital are closing down, due to the free maternal care program. Our children medical care from 0-5 years is now free. The upgrading and renovating of our hospitals to international standard, private doctors now strive to gain employment into public hospitals. Is on record that delta state has the highest numbers of paid doctors, our young girls no longer abandon their children in the hospital, none is scared of the bills when they deliver through operation.(Finger of God at work)
Early and late 90ths- Transportation system in the state was perilous, costly, and it's on record that most Criminal activities that took place like the Otokutu saga was perpetrated via the use of okada. We hear stories of how people fall victims of 419s using buses, and taxi to defraud our good people. We see a drunkard driving on the high ways, and many unbearable incident which have claimed the lives of our relatives. What a tragedy.....But
***From 2007 till date- Great is thy faithfulness,we no longer lost relatives rapidly on the high ways,or fall victim to those 419s,the Otokutu saga is a forgotten story that can never occur again. All these were as a result of the reformation of the transportation sector,we see all our  buses painted (blue & white) with a uniform driver,we see tricycles not okada, macapolo buses, and the beauty of it all is the comfort while travelling and lesser payment. The private parks are closing down, and employment of government drivers is increasing daily. Also unlike traveling to lagos using a whole day and sometimes giving a prejudice to the high way risk of robbers, traffics etc.Today we have international airport that serve the common man and politicians. This is as a result of the reformation system done to the transportation sector.(The finger of God at work)

A good government is the one who provide schools, means of transportation, hospital, and electricity for her citizens. So far the government of the day in delta state, under the leadership of Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan(CON,Omoghene1 of urhobo nation),has put a wide smile in the face of deltans,we feel your impact the Esamaigor, keep on the good works.Half bread they say is better than none if only the half is not spoilt. You have given more than half and I know the little one left will be done soon. Thanks for all deltans salute you.
