GEJ winning the war on corruption?

Nigeria moves up 6 places from 147 last year to 137 out of a total of 174 countries ranked.
Denmark retained its top spot as the least corrupt country in the world while Somalia stays put
at bottom 174th. There are however, 193 nations on earth.

Similarly, the Jonathan Presidency this morning feels Nigeria could have moved up many
places in the ranking but not for a heavily sponsored campaign on the media aimed at portraying
the administration as not being serious in the fight against corruption. It pointed specifically
at an alleged 5trillion naira looted during the Jonathan administration planted in the PUNCH
newspaper and various other campaigns aimed at influencing a poor rating for Nigeria by the anti-graft organisation.

Bullshiire.Nigeria is the most corrupt country in the world, the only "countries" just as bad as nigeria are afghanistan and somalia.
