Hello Friends,

Before you can use your ScanSnap scanner with Evernote, you must set it up properly. Once it is set up, you can benefit from the features of both the ScanSnap and Evernote. ScanSnap scanners are able to scan both sides of a paper, discard blank pages and auto-rotate the page to the correct orientation. The resulting scan is saved as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file in your Evernote account. Multipage scans are saved in a single PDF file.

1. Turn on your computer and right-click the "ScanSnap" icon from the system tray. Click the "Scan Button Settings" option from the menu. The "ScanSnap Manager" dialog window opens on the screen.

2. Go to the "Applications" tab, click the "Add or Remove" button and click in "Add" on the next screen.

3. Click the "Browse" button, then find the "Evernote" application on your computer. The application is typically stored in the following path, "C:\Program Files\Evernote\," but may vary from one computer to another.

4. Select the "Evernote" program from the "Application" drop-down box, then type "Evernote" in the "Application Name" field and click the "OK" button.

5. Go to the "File Option" tab and pick "PDF" as the file format. Also, check the box for the "Searchable PDF" if it's available for your ScanSnap scanner model. When done, click the "OK" button.

6. Power on the ScanSnap scanner. When the scanner is ready, insert the document and press the "Scan" button. The scanner scans the documents and automatically saves it in your Evernote account.

Thanks and Regards
