It was a huge setback this afternoon as the House of Representatives committee on fuel subsidy payments postponed his petition hearing to next Thursday as result of the fact that there were many cases pending in court on the matter. Mr Ubah who was present at the house sitting this afternoon with his lawyers wanted the committee to go ahead with the hearings despite the fact he was already in court on the matter. The committee members had to adjourn for close to thirty minutes to deliberate on the propriety of continued hearing of a matter before several courts. In the end it decided on a postponement to next week Thursday for further hearing. A visibly sad Ifeanyi Ubah with an army of supporters left the sitting dissatisfied with the position of the committee but hoped for a continued hearing next week Thursday.
