SAYING THE TRUTH IS BETTER THAN LYING
In Exodus 12:9-20, Abraham used deception to receive favour from pharaoh and bound himself to an unholy covenant which nearly averts the promise of God over his life. God is a faithful God who is always true to his promise. He sent a plague to the household of pharaoh in order to show that he is King of Kings.. In like manner, God also used plagues to release the Children of Israel in the land of Egypt.
Remember, it was severe famine that struck the land of Cannan that led Abraham to go to Egypt. He left his promise to seek green pastures in a land that seem good in the natural but ultimately wasn’t in agreement with God’s purpose over his life – Genesis 12:10.
Sometimes Christians due to circumstance find themselves in a dry and thirsty land where there seems to be no water. We seek greener pastures elsewhere, far from God’s divine purpose. Some get away with it, while some get stuck for making the wrong choice.
WHATEVER!
Whatever side of the fence you might currently be, fret not! God is about to send plagueS into the land that is holding you back from entering your promise land. His name is Jehovah Nissi.
Ps 30:5
“Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. “
Luke 18:27
Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
2 Cor 1:21-22
Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
2 Cor 3:17-18
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Cor 1:20
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ.
2 Cor 1:24
it is by faith you stand firm.
God bless
