ArenaNet is utilizing Google's authenticator, that's entirely on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone, and players uses this authenticator to verify devices rather than the previous email authentication system. The team is advising those who can buy Guild Wars 2 gold that is currently a beta feature, and already has two changes planned for your not too distant future. Soon, unlinking the mobile authentication system will need additional codes, and users will have a choice to not forget current networks as opposed to needing to authenticate every login.
