Nairalanders.I need your views on this.I graduated with a 3rd class(Physics)but i already have a job (though not my dream job sha,It Sucks but the pay no bad) but i met a fellow with my same class of degree who wants to go back to school for a second degree.I was thinking of PGD but he said that is a waste of time.Is that true?cuz that what i am planning to take the Post Graduate Diploma.
He is 27 yrs old.When is he going to finish with all the ASU strike and also thinking how is he gonna cope financially cuz his parents told him they have escorted him to the level he should be on his own.

Besides are there companies that accept people over 30yrs old who have no experience at work.

You got a 3rd class either because you failed to read when your mates were reading or because you chose a course (physics) for which you have no interest.

If its the first, then if you do pdg or another degree you will be more serious, but if for the 2nd reason, then just do a pgd or degree in what interests you and you'll easily get a firstclass even if you mix studying with working.

As for your question, hnmmm. A 3rd class in a market were 2-1 and 2-2 are jobless . I believe that with God and with DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR FIELD there's no job you cannot get.

A pdg is to enable you get a masters degree not just to use in getting a job. If your aim is to get M.Sc later, then a pgd is ur urgent need. but if u just want to upgrade ur result and rest, fafafa-fao.
Tell any1 who wants to re-do a 1st degree to think twice. For the fact that you left 400/500L behind doesnt mean u can get an 'A' in a 100L/pre-Degree course.
