The 4th Episode of the Social Media workshop Adopt a Tweep which took place on the 15th of December has come and gone but more importantly is what it stood for and accomplished. For newbies to Social Media Marketing it was an eye opener but for more savvy Abuja Social Media people it was an avenue to further empower and become stronger and better.

The workshop met expectations with an interesting testimonial by Abuja based contemporary dance coach Emesiri Omofuoma whose Twitter handle @Kara2dance grew from less than 100 to over 600 followers in less than 30 days thanks to a little tutoring from the NewNaija Media whose promoters @blcompere and @ojaysays have established themselves firmly among aspiring Abuja based Social Media enthusiasts.

Her moving story highlights what effective planning and skills can accomplish in relatively little time with expert guidance as she was able to turn a passion which was taking her no where for 2 years into a budding career that has given her a sense of direction and a head way which has landed her a job plus contacts for which she now does business with.

Another highlight of the workshop was the 10 commandments of tweeting, a guide to help Twitter members appreciate the power of tweets. Ten effective tips which applied diligently is guaranteed to earn more following, mentions and reach via micro blogging.
