Lagos Cancels Restriction Of Movement During Saturday’s Environmental Sanitation by gister2: 9:38am On Dec 27, 2012
This month’s Lagos State environmental sanitation exercise slated for the last Saturday of this month, the 29th, has been cancelled by the Lagos State Government.

The Commissioner for Environment in Lagos State, Tunji Bello, disclose this in Lagos on Wednesday that this would allow free movement of residents of the state who might be travelling during the festive season and to allow for hitch-free preparation for the New Year.

However, the Commissioner appealed to Lagos residents to clean their homes and surroundings even with the suspension of the monthly exercise.

He wished all travellers a safe trip to their respective destinations and wished everybody a wonderful New year in advance.
