Please is jquery bin used to build stuff like
1) friend add system, private mesaging functn, nairaland like function.
2)is jquery also responsible for deduction of values like say if sum1 pays money to anoda user hw wil dat money b aded to d persons acct b4 requestin 4 withdrawal sumtin like a referal website.
Please sugest wat n wat to use to achieve this.THanks

All the things you listed are Server side and database controlled activities.

The only part I know jQuery or JavaScript is used on Nairaland is the smiley and bbcode when replying to, or creating a topic.

And also collection of Google analytics
