Just finished making for hubby's birthday treat:

Pounded yam (made from scratch) and nigerian spinach stew with beef, pork belly, fish and chicken
jolloff rice and suya beef.

and I have to say I'm very proud being white UK wifey lol! I've never made the yam by hand before or the stew but it all is looking very yummy. I think i'm going to have a very happy husband tonight and with plenty leftovers I think his friends will be too lol!

wow!i would like to taste that chineses rice but for now i'm eating bolle(roasted plantain) and fish with water ready to dilute it into the body.
