I went out today to buy my favourite loaf of bread. To my chagrin, i was told it goes for N350. I do eat this particular loaf every week. The last one was consumed on the 31st of december, 2012. And the reason for my baboozlement is that i bought it for N250.

My questions are :

1. why will a loaf of bread which sold for N250 last week suddenly turn to N350

2. Is there scarcity of bread flour in the market

3. Is this part of New Year celebration

This is not good for the populace...
