Amarula, you're right. It's an Itsekiri name; it means first girl. The Itsekiris are one of the several tribes in Delta State. |

Alero is a Yoruba word meaning soft ground. In Itshekiri, It means soft ground as well. Itshekiri also named their first daughter Alero The Itshekiri has a Yoruba root. They are purely Yoruba people and they've never denied the fact. 1 Like |
