Barcelona's Lionel Messi won a record fourth Ballon d'Or crown Monday night in Zurich beating Real Madrid's Christiano Ronaldo and fellow team mate, Andres Iniesta who came 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The annual award which is given to a player adjudged to be the best in the out-gone year is selected by votes National team coaches and captains and selected journalists across the globe.

The voting which sees each individual choose three players out of those shortlisted in the order of first, second and third saw Messi who is also Argentina's captain choosing 1. Iniesta 2. Xavi and 3. Sergio Aguero.

Among other people who voted, Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi surprisingly did not vote for any of the players who made the top 3. Instead he chose, 1. Yaya Toure 2. Drogba and 3. Robin Van Persie.

Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo however voted for 1. Messi 2. Ronaldo and 3. Neymar.

I so pity you because you are making the whole world know how confused and ignorant you are. If you don't have anything to say, must you comment? Need I inform you that votings are done before the nominees are cut unto 3 players, and it is indeed through the voting that nominees are prunned down into 3 players.
