So technically, its a five years program! And after graduating, you go for internship in any of the areas of Pharmacy (hospital, Community or Industry). kjbobo: Its gonna be written as four although mine was five but I think its becos Pharmacy school doesn't reckon with Part 1 as Part of your Pharmacy knowledge acquisition process. However,I want to advise to please not listen to people and lecturers that will say its not about g.p if you have plans to further or pick up sime reputable jobs or further outside country. ...dont joke with g.p abeg! 4.0 is d minimum you can finish with to have soft landing. All the best! *my opinion: I fink its d Jamb dat doesnt reckone wif d 5th year..... Courses lyk mcb go straight into dia course of study coz diaz isnt as complex as dat of pharm, physiotherapy nd d lykz.... E.g in pharm... Dey offer... Maths eng phy chem nd bio in dia 100lvl which is nt even in line wif dia course buh on getting to 200..... Dey offer pharmchemistry, clinicalpharmacy,pharmacology,pharmacognosy,biochem,etc .... Tho, i myt nt b able to convince u buh am sure i still tried my best to give u some explaination..... *the real reason is best known to jamb,buh i dnt tink its a mistake coz it has always bin writtin lyk dat* ol 5yrs course being written has 4yrs doesnt min ol odaz shud b reduced too..... Lol..bro..i knw all dis things b4....I'm not saying u'r wrong... But what i'm saying is that its nt d reason why jamb writes 4 years.. Its in all courses,nt only in pharmacy...na d same work all of us go do for 100L Everyone starts real courses in Part2..same wif mbbs n bds,... And jamb doesnt write 3yrs for microbio or 5yrs for mbbs |
