Dad: U mean UI has said sumfn? Jay: No o,unilorin has picked me for medicine n surgery.. Dad: (happy)...Thats good news oo.....we have to celebrate jay: (laughs) Dad: how much is the acceptance,let me give u my atm card,so u cn withdraw 2mao mawnin n pay.. Jay: I dnt want to pay yet sir.i'm waiting for UI.. Dad: What r u saying?.. Jay: Yes sir,i prefer UI Dad: Why?..... Jay: UI has good hostels n i have many frnds there.... Dad: dnt tell me nonsense,thats nt a genuine reason,tell me sumfn else.. Jay: I prefer BDS... Dad: so,u hate mbbs?.. Jay: Not that sir,but i wnat BDS so i wl hv tym for my family whren i grow up.. Dad: I hv told u,only women look at that,u r a man,u dnt hv to sit in one place..u hv to hustle around.. Jay: Dad,nt everybody wants to b lyk u,u hardly hv tym for us.... Mum: i hv discussed it with him,i think he has good reasons.. Dad: No,No...dnt tell me that,r u supproting him?.. Mum: Not that i am supporting him,but he is grown up,he has to decide for himself...Hehehe... Dad:...He has nfn to do on this,he shld pay his fees next week n start skl...we dnt even knw when ASUU wl call off,if ui picks him,he'l resume in March or even beyond...by that tym,he wld hv bn thinking of 200lvl@Unilorin... Mum:...Abi oo,i told ,he wldnt listen.i even prefer that ilorin cos the skl isgud for gentle boys like him..... Jay:...ha...why this na,tot we v settled it..... Dad:...i've decided... . . That was how it went that sad evening....Hmmmm . .Was obvious my dad made his mind..i hv no choice... Tried convincing him the 2nd day...(Pretzy adviced me too)...
