Heard about the 1st batch mobilisation list, my name isn't there tho, I'm sure my name should be on the 2nd batch.
How come uniport isn't saying anything about jamb number regularisation?

Aww i didnt know you studied Political Science too. We were called Political Scientists and our former H.O.D Professor Femi Mimiko Ondo state governor's younger brother now the V.C in Akungba AAUA gave us a name "Civility in the air". Our course codes were POL 410, POL 310 etc...and Our Pol 207 was Political economy instead of 206, 314-Marxism, 310-Military in Politics. I didnt do Revolutions and society because it was a restricted elective for us instead i did Foreign Policy and International Law. Did you have sadists as lecturers? And do they also mark down your grades? was there any 1st class in your class? Hmnn the last 1st class candidate in our department was 17years ago and he is our current H.O.D even 2.1 sef na war 8 out of 120 students na wah o we really suffered oo. It is well

Hmmm nd i was thinking all wat u listed above were only prevalent in my skool(state uni) so fedral uni's r not even left out.
Almost all our lecturers were sadists nd politicians, they derive somuch joy in seein large proportion of students fail nd they neva hid it. Always threatnin us of consequences of not buying dia txt books. Imagine a single txt book going 4 4k, d cheapest txt book so far was 2k.
We nva hd 1st class in my set but we hd 5 2.1 students out of 206 students, 57 graduated wit 2.2 of wich i was among, d rest was shared wit 3rd class folks, attendance students nd those who neva graduated.

Na wah o 5 2.1 out of 206? Hmnn the only difference is that they didnt threaten us with buying their hand outs and text books infact they intentionally dont release it so that students will fail their text and exams. We only go to the Library or online to read for our own good. Although it was an intresting course for me because it is the course i wanted to study and i never regretted studying it till now, the people that couldnt cope and were frustrated were the ones that didnt choose to study the course and they were given. Thank God we are done with school na to serve find work make money remain o lol...

Yea that is one good thing about OAU na photocopy things. Accounting every year always produce enough 1st class students to the extent that senate had a meeting last year about the 1st class ish imagine it is possible for a class of 100 to have 45 1st class i dont know why. Infact i used to tell my friends in accounting that if they graduate with 2.2 or even 2.1 sef, it means they are dull o lol. I really envied your class o. That is why if any of my friend or even enemy is applying for OAU, it is either Elect/Eng or Accounting o because they are the only dept that produce 1st class or 2.1 like pure water.

You cnt rlly compare fed uni's wit state uni's. State uni students r rlly suffering!
Lucky you 4 nt spending somuch on txt books wen even ppl doin ACC in my skool do buy 1 big ACC txt book for 6k.
Imagine a situation immediately a lecturer walks in2 class 4 lectures, d 1st tin he asks is hw many of u v gotn ur materials, he wil shake his head b4 proceeding 2 teach.
Oh mehn the exploitation nd victimization is not worth remniscing.

OAU was nd i gues stil remains 1st or 2nd best fedral uni's in Nigeria. It's like dia fees r also d cheapest wit no compromise on academic standards wyl in my state uni they r paying 90k nw for tuition yet u get exploited by so called lecturers.

OAU would prolly be the cheapest. Over my 3 years on campus, I paid less than 30k for my programme.

Lol @ 1st class or 2.1 like pure water.
But really though, it's just a misconception. For every accounting set in OAU, DE students usually make one-third of the class population, who must have had fore knowledge of what accounting entails. Also, close to a third of the class are professional students writing either ICAN or ACCA, which contributes immensely to their performances.
Heard there was a senate meeting b4 we left school because of the 1st class students in our set, which as at d end of 400L 1st semester were about 40 out of over 300 students.
