God leads: Pls hw does unijos calculate aggregate?

I THINK its the average of both utme and post utme, the utme is either scaled to 100% (your jamb score divided by 400 then x 100%) or so before adding the answer to post utme score and dividing by 2. Thats how some schools do it but the post utme seems to be important and i dont know about unijos's calculation style. i m not sure.

woa! Congrat dear!

It's very simple 2 knw if unijos reduced ur score just follow d following step,
1) try and remember d question ur asked in d exam hall
2) try and remember d options u tick,
3) try and see d options u tick dat u knw is very correct
4)multiply it my 4 e.g
maths=3 out of 5 is correct,
eng=5 out of 5 is correct,
phy=3 out of 5 is correct,
bio=4 out of 5 is correct,
kmis3=3 out of 5 is correct,
making a total of 18 out of 25 is correct then multiply it by 4 e.g
18*4=72%.
If u score increase d just know dat unijos has don something funny.

2) post utme score 48% divide by 4 will be 12,
3) ssce result,
science important course,

kmis3=b3 which is 4 mak,
phy=c5 which is 3 mark,
bio=c5 which is 3 mark
making a total of 17 marks,
4) add step 1,2 and 3 finall ans 2gether e.g 22.142+12+17=51.142
5) multiply final ans above by 4 which will be 51.142*4=205 approximatly
so u can c dat dis person can still get admitted.

That's why i am saying that it is difficult to really know how the admission criteria is determined! There are several ways to calculate percentages so one cannot really tell. The awaiting result candidates cannot benefit from the above calculation. There should be a better easier way because this method is quite lengthy...quite but who knows, it just might be it...but i doubt.

there is no cause for alarm sir cos the above calculation is not applied to uj's admission process, just ur jamb and post ume will be used for the admission. So don't get tinz mixed up for urself, it's well.

after calculating step 1 and 2 , when it gets 2 result aspect, if it is awaiting result result unijos will add invinsible 15 marks 4 u if u cross then u will b given admission.

Lol. Gunners, thats why I am not concluding anything yet because it is medicine and surgery, if it were Biochemistry or Microbiology, i might be buying school stuff by now,lol, though my jamb was manageable; my fingers remain crossed. I really want this admission on merit without any follow up, reading for that JAMB was grueling! If it will be used, I hope it will be enough to qualify me for Medicine and Surgery at Unijos!

Anyway sha God knows why. I cant accuse UJ of tempering with my result, but 2be sincere I was dumb-founded when I saw my result earlier 2day. I was sure of 15 out of the 25 questions I answered, but getting a 12 is not far frm what I actually was xpecting, but tnx 2 God I competed well, it wasnt easy competing with 400level pharmacy, med lab stdnts and the rest. My hopes not all lost with 234 JAMB score and 48% PUME score, but for now I bow out with my head held at average, just dis time 2 concentrate on my present course of study and make something good out of it.

wow! how interesting. the medicine and surgery cut off in addition to that of other courses must be pretty high. it appears unijos plans to be stricter by applying higher cut offs this year. that is a bit serious! i wonder how the general putme performance for sciences, arts, medical and also social sciences were. i am curious. that will determine who gains admission and who wont. all this stress just to enter, we haven't even started anything yet and see all the apprehension.
