I hope the sanitary conditions in Idia are slightly better now? It used to be worse than a pigsty. . . Queens was probably worse sef, smh. Btw, are there new hostels now? Saw so many building projects going on when I visited sometime in 2011.

Idia is very neat now and conducive, we had a very strict hall warden, and to many rules that made people angry. Those building projects are still on, we r not sure what they are for tho, stalites have been sent off campus, and cooking has been banned, no more Zik and Indy 'aro', school will be so dry, anyway we are now agbowoites...

students, 2 or 3 students in a room ( so i heard). Students are planning to protest, without the SU though cos the SU seems to be inactive but NANS is supporting. When you say "SU", I'm not sure whether you mean 'Student Union' or 'Scripture Union', lol. Anyways, staying in a flat with your friends off Agbowo might be a bad idea. The crime situation a few years ago in that area was quite bad, and even worse for females - if you know what I mean. Except things are much better now.

It's unbelievable that only first year and final year students are now allowed to stay in the hostels. Wetin happen? Well, I stayed in a BQ on Amina Way for most of my time there (though I stayed in Agbowo in my first year). . .guess staying in a BQ in school might pay you more as a girl.

Na wa oh. The previous VC was the 'ish' though. . .Prof Bamiro. I enjoyed his tenure for so many reasons. When did you finish, and from what department (hope it's not "Biz Admin". . . Lol.).

UI was anything but "dry" during my time though. The hostels (female and male) were overpopulated, while Agbowo was 'over ssubscribed'. Na enough broses and aunties full every department/faculty dat time (God bless Education babes, lol). Towards the end, 'smallies' started trooping in. The school is a much better and peaceful institution now if you ask me. Many years ago it used to be a theatre of war and anarchy.

Staying in and around Agbowo might be a bad idea because robbers/burglars used to be a menace to some students living in private apartments in the area (and females were soft targets). . .unless things are different now. What of St Anne's? I'm sure stalites are permitted to stay there.

Meanwhile @ Thareta, it's crazy that the new VC doesn't want students in the BQs anymore. Thank God say that rubbish no happen during my time there. I absolutely enjoyed BQ life in Amina Way.

St Anne's is full, we are really careful at choosing a place though, very security conscious. Thanks
