The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps Brig-Gen. Nnamdi Okore-Affia revealed that some Nigerian Corps members cannot communicate in English.

He pointed out that the inability of the academic institutions in producing eligible corps members became a tough task for the NYSC management.

Many school principals and employers fire corps members because they were difficult to re-orient.
