Now, the Accord was redesigned totally for 2008 year after the 2003-2005 and 2006/2007 body style designs which virtually had same interior designs, and popularly called "End of discussion" and "Discussion continue" here in nigeria. After the 2008 design, there were no changes of note for 2009 models both interior and exterior wise up until the 2010. For the 2010 models, the differences are minor: Climate controls on all models are a lighter gray color to distinguish them from the nearby audio buttons; EX models get new backseat ventilation ducts; and hands-free Bluetooth capability are standard on all models with leather seats (not just those with the navigation system).
The 2008 accord differs a bit from the 2009 and 2010 Accord engines on their available engine trims with the 5-spd automatic with over-drives:
268-hp 3.5-liter V-6 (regular gas) - 2008 Accord
271-hp 3.5-liter V-6 (regular gas) - 2009 Accord
271-hp 3.5-liter V-6 (regular gas) - 2010 Accord

Asides this, all other technical features are same. Same fuel economy on city and highway. Same available transmissions on all the various trims.
Interesting to know that the body parts of the 2008 fits well enough for the 2009 and 2010 e.g head and tail lights, bonnets, boots, side-mirrors, seats etc
So next time your car technician tells you the price of the parts are different. Tell him/her you know better.

Hi Garba,

The major difference is actually the navigation system, heated seats and better stereo/audio speakers (more watts) which the EX-L has.
NOTE: The V6 5-Speed Auto-transmission EX also comes with heated seats but no Navigation.

The difference is that the L in EX-L means Leather, that is, it must come in leather seat. Apart from this every other thing is the same in both except for the V6 models.
