After three decades of active public service, 65 year old formal US first lady,Hilary Clinton has stepped down as Secretary of state at US Department after four years. Senator John Kerry succeeds her. Hilary battled ill health in the last few months. From a nasty stomach virus to exhaustion, severe dehydration,fall and a concussion that led to brief hospitalization when doctors discovered a blood clot near her brain. Can any Nigerian public servant and politician bow out of office as a result of brief illness without being forced? |
