A Critical Look At 2015 Election by mekaboy(m): 8:47pm On Feb 04, 2013
some people have said that Nigeria wont exist beyond 2015, but i often wave it off. But was thinking what if

1, a Notherner wins the presidential election, and says they will no longer continue with the amnesty program with niger delta. that is a waste of resources, that his tenure will channel the amnesty to boko haram.

The militants go crazy, blow up pipe lines. No fuel, no gas, Transportation becomes a luxury, telecom operators find it difficult to run at the high cost of gas. Price of everything increases, Electricity goes off due to lack of gas at the power stations. How do we tackle that?

2, What if a non-northerner wins, and the northerners decide to go real wild, bombing structures in Abuja and the northern part of Nigeria, people will loose life and property. This could lead to a war between the whole Nigeria and the north.

Considering the above conditions, GEJ might still be the best option to keep things calm. Be careful who u support and consider the possibilities of the above while making decisions.

Lets have your opinion.

The amnesty programme was not designed to last forever. Even the incumbent has made it clear that the amnesty programme will end in 2015 whether he gets a second term or not.

Again, I think it's too early to discuss 2015 elections.

The only thing that can keep Nigeria beyond 2015 is if Jonathan remains in Aso Rock. No Jonathan in aso rock by 2015 means No Nigeria.
