You are free to use it in your house, nobody will disturb you for that. I'm still using mine to watch all channels on my decoder and am also residing in a remote environment.
My warning only goes to people who are interested in large importation to resell in Nigeria. Many security agents are reading some stuff on NL and they can disguise as buyer for the product.
