I guess you are on a standard account which should give you fair deal on spreads. Well if you are among those holding from 5,$$$ to $$,$$$ or 6 to 7 digits in capital, I will strongly recommend you move to: Tradestation, Interactive Brokers, CITI fx pro.

All three are solid financially. IB and Citi offer ecn with commissions, tradestation is spread only but they don't play games. I took my time to dig this out and it goes out to all searching for sound brokers. All the best

Has any one tried any of this? I did a search on Google and this post was among. I think FXCM is missing there cos it seems their easier to open account from naija while others unless you are aside naija. All these African/Asia broker dey fear me now even though my fund never reach d level to worry about but at least i worked hard for my money

Interactive brokers does not accept nigerian residents, same with CitiFXPRO.

But they're both excellent brokers.

You'll be surprised to know what the brokers from the USA have done to some people. Anyway fingers crossed..Xemarkets haven't given me cause for concern. I never liked Insta and their penchant for numerous gbagauns. You spend time to chat with a customer care rep and he can't even write a full sentence of English. If they can't spend small money to hire good English speakers then I can't give them my money.

Na you wan confuse yourself. Pick a broker that is a bit popular and use and stop bothering yourself. Go on ForexPeaceArmy and you'll see numerous accusations leveled againts virtually all brokers.. Yet people are still trading with those brokers. FXpro and Fxopen for instance are one of the oldest brokers around still they receieve a lot of diss from people on that forum. Till today they are still going strong. Same applies for FXCM. So just pick one good broker and start trading. If you are looking for one with 100% positive reviews, you go wait tire.

Good to see u made back your last week loss, how i wish u can be sticking to the rules and reduce much of your lots. it will pain me in particular if this $8000 go down margin call again. as i said b4 $8000 is enough for some traders to sack his employer. with 40% monthly u know how much that be in Naira.

Well, Both are great brokers.

Bear in mind, you can't go lower than 0.1 lot on both. If you would want to go lower, then FXCM Micro is your only option between the two.

Different approach to the market, I actually bought based on the harmonic set-up yesterday and here is how I see the price movement if things go well. The first target is at the 38.2 fib while the second target is at the 50fib. Drew my fib from 1.55905 to 1.50133 (the whole swing on the 4hr chart) but moved to the uploaded TF is 1hr just to get a clearer picture.
