naijababe: Oil trade worked out perfectly, trade is now +175 pips with hardly any drawn down. Another buy limit set at 104.60 as the more prominent TL has been broken.

EU closed at 120+ pips in total, EA riding on still at +480 pips, I am looking at an exit at or around 1.39000 area.

Good one Madam n oil sweet my belly today as well. Kip it up n 106.4x is a challenge for next week and convince brk shd be 110.xx otherwise 100.xx and below

Sorry, if u couldn't find the indicators.

I attach them here for your use and others that might find them useful. Please, be guided that I only use them to visualize the market especially on timeframes 1hr to weekly. I basically use my personally drawn trend lines to make entry decisions.

Although I could not see what you wrote in the PM, you can always ask for anything that would assist us in this business.

Thank you

Dipocian: Please does anyone know of a good broker that does not gap one's pending order during news event. Instaforex just started gaping my orders this week, I tot the first was a technical error but was suprised to experience the same thing this afternoon during the cad news release, thus reducing my profit. I tried checking liteforex on FPA but this is the first thing I saw about them 'CAUTION: LiteForex has a policy limiting a trader's profits on news events at gap openings to a maximum of 10%.'

Same as forextime. All of dem thieves and oles.Forextime doesn't have fixed spread.Hate dem!

Re: Forex Trading - Season 13 by ayox2003: 5:47pm On Aug 10, 2013
The little lessons I learnt on this thread last week, although we all know 'em:

1)Seize new opportunities: They say ladies first, so let me start from Naijababe. I think Naijababe mostly trades Oil, Gold, Dow and one other currency - I no remember am now sha- but she rarely, I mean rarely trades EURUSD and EURAUD. I was suprised when I saw her post last weekend on EURAUD. I was like, 'Correct, you self don dey the spirit'. Why I said it was because: 1) I had also been watch the pair 2) She was ready to 'diversify her portfolio', kinda like doing the unsual, seeing a risk in an unfamiliar territory and she went for it. So whats the lesson here: (mind you, its my own lesson, no be for everyone, just wanna share am ni o) So the lesson is that dont limit yourself once your stragey identifies and opportunity even in a pair you dont really trade with. Go for it! Take the risk! Dont be dogmatic! Now, both trades she took brought her good profits that her usual pairs did not bring this week! Lets say you are used to trading EURUSD and your strategy spots and opportunity in USDCAD, why not take the risk and go for it, because you've got only one shot!

Y'all need to listen to Eminem's Lose Yourself, by the way cool (The joint make sense wella)

Note: This is not recommended for fresh traders, but for oldies with a good strategy!

Me I be cassanova, I dey friend all ha 'em pairs, anyone whey shake him nyansh, I go groove am. Worst comes to worst, e go diss me!

2) Throw away sentiments: On this thread, last saturday, we had already speculated that EURAUD was a good short! Abi I lie? Natruetalk, Naijababe and Rozay shey I lie? Infact we all the easing whey Aussie Bank do, e no crash. E kon even strong well. NFP na him nail this lesson for my head wella. The koko is that 'em analyst will say crap and talk rofo-rofo but na wetin you see for chart na him be koko. Even if na Barclays or Pimco or Bank of America talk, make person no listen at all because NO ONE - I say NO ONE can predict the future. (maybe, TB Joshua sha, no be me talk am o, lol). Also throw away your own sentiments, your own herd mentality or follow-follow package. Trade what your strategy says and mind you, when everyone seems to be going towards a direction, cross check twice, they might be very very wrong. In short, listen to the rhythm (aka gbedu) of the market and what price says and all other things shall be added unto you.

Abeg, I go continue others later, too much typing dey bore me.

@Benpuzzy, I got u abi! Lol, didn't just learn 'em. Just wanna make d thread more interestin'.

totally agree with you on the bolded. my system is purely price action and it's no respecter of currency pair.
Take for example yesterday, my system generated a buy alert for FTSE 100 and i placed my first ever live trade on FTSE (funny enough never ever traded it even on demo)
Bad news; I got my lot size wrong.
Good news: Trade went according to script. Other than that, with the suicidal lot size i unknowingly used, i would have been back in the village escorting my grand father to his fishing pond.
Glad i moved sl to BE before market closed. If tp is hit and i don't trade at all next week i'm ok.
glad it went according to script.

Me just like the saying that "i do not fear he who kick 10,000 buckets but he that kick one bucket 10,000 times". Limited pairs increases accuracy.

I only v d chrts of d pairs i trade and no way to even be tempted to try other pairs but its all good sha to follow ones believe n @Frenchman, good one frm ur ftse experience.
Well done boss ayox.

sir, i think you're mis-interpreting Bruce Lee's quote. He has practiced a particular kick for over 10,000 times. In other words he has perfected that technic. so if he encounters anything; bucket, stone, cup, humanbeing etc. and he uses that particular kick he has perfected it's bound to produce results.
Christiano Ronaldo has a way of playaing free kicks. He has perfected the technic. if it works for him at the bernabau, it will work anywhere.
A trader who has perfected the act of entering and exiting trades using heads and shoulders pattern only on eurusd, will equally use the same system to make money from say usdchf.
Sir, hope you get my point. No offense meant.
