Killed by his fellow countrymen, we would have lost him to the inaccurate statistics of those we have lost to bombings & riots in Nigeria.

Today he is alive & all of us, maybe including those who killed his parents or sponsored the 2002 riots, are celebrating his brilliant performance on the field.

We have won the AFCON cup today, let us dedicate the cup to peace in our nation & to all those we have lost through violence, riots & bombings; including the Father & Mother of Victor Moses. May the souls of all the departed, rest in peace!

Congrats to us. I just hope the people in charge of our football realize this team is still far from being ready to face stiff opposition. The big African teams were very lack luster. For me the team of the tournament would be Burkina Faso, they did very well to reach the finals and even played very well against the big names like Nigeria and Ghana. African football administrators need to wake up and improve our football. This is my own personal opinion though.
