Governors who making up the newly yet to be registered All Progressive Congress (APC) party have said that they will make free education as their leading programme,to prove that they are true democrats.

The party made up of 10 governors,from other parties such as,Action Congress of Nigeria, All Nigeria Peoples Party,Congress for Progressive Change, former All Progressive Grand Alliance, all met in Abuja on Tuesday where they started their programmes under the unregistered All Progressive Congress(APC)
Governors present at the meeting included:Babatunde Raji Fashola (Lagos),Tanko Almakura (Nasarawa),Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun),(Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Adams Oshiomhole (Edo) , and Ibrahim Geidam (Yobe) .

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Mr Almakura, said that the party will tackle issues that had troubled the agricultural sector and also agricultural development, jobs creation, free education, affordable healthcare, infrastructural development, adequate power supply, eradication of poverty and war against corruption, and rapid technological advancement and industrialization.He also said “We shall pride ourselves as social democrats that are committed to organise our society based on the values of justice for all and individual freedom where everyone’s basic needs are fulfilled,” .Zonal Contact and Mobilisation Committees were formed which was made known by Mr Almakura, which will be overseen by six of their members.the zones included North-Central headed by Mr Almakura; Mr Rochas Okorocha, South-East; Mr Ibrahim Geidam, North-East; and Mr Adams Oshiomhole, South-South,Mr Kayode Fayemi, South-West; Mr Abdulaziz Yari, North-West.addressing Journalists the governor of edo state in the person of Adams Oshiomole said“I am fully convinced about the need for this merger,” also he used the opportunity to re-instate his commitment to the merger. “There is no question about my conviction and my commitment to the merger.”Also giving his voice on the development the governor of Imo state Mr Okorocha also insisted that although there are problems in his party, APGA, the party was committed to the merger.“Let me say that APGA is in the merger talks. We have our little challenges and we are just trying to sort out about who are the APGA-APGA and who are the APGA-PDP.Lets wait and see what this party has really got to offer to the Nigerian populace.

so governor fashola is among of those who are promising free education after he singlehandedly increased lasu tuition fee.are you sure these people are different from pdp who promise to build bridges where there is no water. hmmmmmmmm i dey laugh hoooooooooooooooooo
