I have never seen where a referee would decide to end a game when there is an outstanding set piece to be taken, this happened in madrid vs Man utd game. wonder shall never happen in football, most likely the corner kick would have resulted to a goal for Man Utd |

The German referee was obviously protecting Madrid. He should have given Varean a red card for clipping the legs of Evra who was bearing down on goal but he deemed no fault and continued the game. He was clearly giving soft free kicks to Madrid and consistently ignoring those for Man United. If it were to be Barca now everybody will be crying blue murder and inventing all sort of conspiracy theories to hand Barca title. For now all is fine. |
