Going by the crime rate in Nigeria which has reached epidemic proportions, I strongly believe that Nairaland needs a board dedicated only to crime to help expose and fight crime.

Nigeria is infested with such crimes as kidnapping, murder, embezzlement, religious and ethnic clashes, fraud, etc etc. And Nairaland, being the website with the largest followership in Nigeria, has the clout to expose and curb crime in Nigeria.

This way Nairaland would be immensely contributing to fighting crime, apprehending criminals and laundering the image of Nigeria. In fact, such noble gesture will help win Nairaland awards and could make Seun Osewa a recipient of a national award such as MON or OON.

We are talking about making it a board that appears on the home page like others, not a sub-section under politics as is presently the case.
Crime is way too important and rampant to be squeezed under the politics board.

It's a perfect ideal if there is a way of preventing haters from intentionally stalking the innocent ones.
