Just download a bar code scanner and scan the barcode that's all.

Ucbrowser has qrcode scanner that thing is qr code and not bar code. But i dont need to scan it b4 ur portal gets updated its an automatic process.

i paid my accommodation levy today and i was given a receipt and am planing to pay school fees tomorrow but the question is will i receive any notification for payment of accommodation levy except for the receipt issued? and also what's the bar code all about cause i'm confused will it be issued after payment of school fees?

Yeah. Check your mail for the notification. The bar code will be on the receipt you'll be given at the bank after payment. It's just another form of payment confirmation that's all.

Login to your portal if it still displays the same page it did before you paid then it's still not updated.

I paid at a first bank branch(sch fees/ges) in Lagos and i was immediately notified via my mail....all the process of making payment is good.

But was your portal updated?

I wouldn't advice you to pay at the bank o. I payed on Monday and I've gotten no email of payment success nor has my portal been updated. It's better you use webpay

Click on pay your fees after logging into your portal, then tick the fees you want to pay for then click on add to list then you click on proceed it then brings up the remita thing you check the box next to the remita mode of payment then proceed, it then displays your reference number which you should write down somewhere, you then proceed again it brings up enter remita gateway once you click on it your RRR number will be displayed. You then copy this and print out the invoice then go to the bank to pay. Shikena.

Once payment has been made at a particular bank the portal is meant to update automatically. But since UI just started this remita thing it's not 100% efficient yet. I payed yesterday at about 3 pm and my portal is still not updated.

Nothing really just another way of confirming if your payment was successful.

What mode of remita payment do you want to use for fees payment?

You can scan the barcode on your receipt to confirm your payment.

Shebi u don pay and dem give u PIN? Log in and select what you've paid for(bundle/ges levy or school fees), enter the pin and validate your payment on the portal. Shikina

UI no use the pin thingy this year it's just there for fun... Na remita dem dey use wey get the 3 payment options. Read the instructions you'll understand better. Everyone who payed at a bank branch didn't get any pin just their teller and a receipt of payment with a barcode.

I simply deposited into my acc and went to d cáfe to use webpay with my ATM. Those RRR number will reflect on the receipt which will be sent to ur email. If you are using remita, you need not write dose number down except the reference number which i copied out of curiosity.

I didn't use webpay I payed at first bank UI branch using my RRR number as the account number and so did everybody else who payed yesterday.

Its either pass or fail

But then u can still calculate t for scholarship stuffs or any oda personal purpose

Be very sure before making assertions. Medicine and pharmacy is declassified. The way it's structured every graduate of both field is seen as competent and qualified. You could calculate your Cgpa for personal reasons but out there it really doesn't apply especially whilst pursuing a career in your field. Doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to be the best anyway.
