Hmmmm......and when u cast sentiment aside u'd know that: 1. Im only here to help out, it's not my company. 2. It's not the post of branch manager, but salesman 3. Whoever is interested should be at alert.

While i agree that most scammers operating clandestine employment agency will most likely use e-mail add like yahoo, gmail & the likes.

Likewise, some multi-nationals either use consulting firms or use in house HR department to recruit. What we have found out sometimes is that once d recruiting company is identified, every applicant begins to search for insiders who can help influence the job to their favour (even when they do not qualify).

Consequently, MDs, Executive Directors etc are bombarded by all sorts of pressures from friends and families to assist. Therefore, some big companies have it as a policy not to disclose their identity while recruiting. It is also happening to some consulting firms now.

I know a prof in Unilag whose son brought a note from his father to a managing partner of a consulting firm to help influence certain recruitment being carried out for a multi-national. The prof believed he helped his friend's son to get admission and now is pay back time.

Such experiences sometimes leads to the use of anonymous contacts and e-mails.

The use of such e-mails as gmails are not always for mischief. It is the applicants that should watch out and be wary of any attempt to deceive into buying forms, or parting with money in any guise. A genuine company will not ask any applicant to pay for any reason
