In recent times, Barcelona has been made to look ordinary by a couple of teams. It started with Chelsea who got them packing in last year's UCL semis and then just over a week ago, it was the turn of AC Milan to embarrass Barca. Yesterday, Madrid also came to their home and trashed them 3 goals to 1. Some people say it's because Barca has lost form while some other believe Barca's time has past. But it's not as if Barca are playing any different from the way they've always been playing. Their players are still playing at their very best but they manage to get beaten. Why?

Personally, i think nit's because Barca has a particular style of play which a lot of people are quite familiar with but did not know how to counter such playing prowess but i think a few coaches have read their style of play like Christians read the bible and Muslims read the quoran and have devised means to stop them. They allow Barca play their possession football while they defend and then hit them on the counter. Most teams that have beaten Barca scored their goals through counter attack.

If Barca wants to stop this embarrassments, they must update their tactics. I don't know why they don't take shots from outside the box 18 like other teams do.
