We need to be tough on Boko Haram, but we also need to be tough on the causes of Boko Haram

Boko Haram (just like Terrorism in Pakistan} is caused when you have millions of POOR and UNEDUCATED people who are easily influenced (due to hunger and illiteracy) by so called Mullahs and Muslim clerics who actually are wolves in sheep clothing and are not preaching true islam as we knew it to be.

So, you would have expected the Nigerian Politicians to STOP their corruption and use the money they would have STOLEN to FEED and EDUCATE the desperate millions in ALL 36 States of Nigeria BUT they REFUSE to stop their stealing and ALL we hear daily is news of the Corruption and TREASURY LOOTING being carried out by Nigerian Politicians DAILY thus further entrenching Poverty and Illiteracy in the lives of 170 million Nigerians and creating the conditions for Boko Haram to thrive.

Currently, to become a successful Politician in Nigeria you have to be Criminally minded and Corrupt and not "Give a Damn" if the masses are poor, under-educated or terrorised by Boko Haram because the Politician and his family are insulated from Poverty and Illiteracy and are well guarded against Boko Haram's atrocities. Nigeria's Politicians are not ready to stop stealing because in their eyes "Crime Pays" and to stop stealing in order to use the money on the masses would mean less money for them to steal and flaunt around.

The Religious leaders (of all faiths) and Traditional rulers have a share in the blame as they will not look these Criminal Politicians in the face and call a spade a spade. Instead, they are busy praying for these Crooked Politicians, collecting Private Jets and Money from them all in a bid to insulate their own families from the excruciating poverty that now means that most Nigerians can no longer keep up their "Suffering and Smiling" facade and has led to Nigerians falling from being the happiest people in the world to now being adjudged as one of the saddest people in the world all in the space of a few years.

The idle mind is the devils workshop and the idle hand is his tool.

We need to be tough on Boko Haram, But we also need to be tough on Corruption which is a major cause of Boko Haram

So, whilst we must condemn Boko Haram and all Terrorist organisations that kill innocent people, we have to EQUALLY condemn Nigeria's CORRUPT Politicians (from ALL States) for creating millions of Poor and Uneducated Nigerians because the money that should have gone to feed and educate 170 million people has been stolen by Nigeria's CORRUPT Politicians.

If only the Western powers would with the same vigour with which they condemn terrorism equally condemn the corruption and stealing by Nigeria's leaders then we may start to make headways in defeating the twin evil of Boko Haram and Corrupt Nigerian Politicians.

So, whilst Boko Haram is our enemy, Corrupt Nigerian Politicians are also our enemy and I think a bigger one at that.

So because our leaders are courupt BH will start bombing killing and maiming innocent civilians and church worshipers and be vindicated. Is couruption only in the north or is it only the north that are having idle youth. Let us say the truth and the truth shall set nigeria.
