A renowned Hausa female singer, Sa’adatu Aliyu, popularly known as ‘Barmani Choge’,has died at the age of 80 in Funtua town of Katsina State. One of her children, Hamza Aliyu, who confirmed the death to journalists on Monday, said the deceased died at her residence on Saturday, after battling a protracted illness.
