My andriod tablet do connect to some open non secured wifi network, but will not browse,.
How can this case be rectified?.

Wifi's are of different types. Some kinds of wifi are not compatible with some devices.

Are you sure the networks you connected to can access the internet? Not all wifi networks are for internet access. Some are for data sharing etc. Also, if the network is kinda weak, browsing will be poor or completely unavailable

Mine got connected to mtn hotspot here in UST p.h but still cant browse

@naijagadgetboi, there is an internet cafe, that uses an open wifi network for their operation, my tablet connects to this network but cant browse, it seems my finding is any wifi that operate by MTN MIFI gets my tablet attention, i do use open universal internet USB thru which i can switch sims be it mtn, glo, airtel or etisalat
