Long ago, it was only people who has playstation that can play the games. Today, i want to tell you how to enjoy this on your PC. To play Free PSX Roms on your PC, you need to download a program called ePSXe from www.freepsxroms.com Then, unzip it in any folder of your choice. You can just create a folder on your desktop and send it there. After this, the next thing is to obtain the BIOS. You can do it in two ways. You can dump it from your PSX, but that is the long route. You can also download somewhere, but again, only if you actually own a PSX. After that, extract the files in the \bios directory (you can also delete the "~erase.me' file) then, you search and download Pete's and P.E.Op.S. plug-ins from 4shared. Extract the plugin into the /plugin directory and overwrite existing ones. The next step is to add zlib1.dll. Get it here. You are almost finished. Just open the ePSXe in the desktop folder. Upon openin ePSXe.exe, or the shortcu you made to it on your desktop, you will encounter a configuration wizard. First select the corrent BIOS for your region. Next select your video driver.<br /> When you press "~Config' you can change the vide settings (like screen resolution, FPS limit, and so on. Press Next and select sound Plug-in and CD ROM plug-in. Then, configure your controller. After this whole process goto www.freepsxroms.com and download some bunch of Free PSX ROMS to play with the emulator (ePSXe). |
