New Samsung Galaxy S IV To Feature Eye-tracking Technology? by iRepFactmart: 8:51am On Mar 08, 2013
The new Samsung Galaxy S IV may feature a very exciting and innovative eye-tracking technology, according to a report from the New York Times.

That report claim that in February Samsung filed for a trademark in the United States called "Samsung Eye Scroll" in which it was described as a "Computer application software having a feature of sensing eye movements and scrolling displays of mobile devices, namely, mobile phones, smartphones and tablet computers according to eye movements; digital cameras; mobile telephones; smartphones; tablet computers."

Currently, Samsung Galaxy S III uses a feature called "Smart Stay" where the user could keep the device's screen display lit up as long as that person is looking into its front-facing camera.

Simply stated, this alleged new feature of Samsung Galaxy S IV means that you, as a user, will no longer have to touch the screen when you wish to scroll the pages you are viewing in the upcoming Galaxy S IV, because a simple positioning of your eyes is enough for the page you're viewing with the said device to scroll as if it were magic.

In addition, the New York Times also mentioned that Samsung has also filed another trademark called "Eye Pause," but Samsung didn't elaborate what features it could do for the Samsung device.

Meanwhile, Samsung is all set for the grand unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S IV at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on March 14, 2013. The event is one of the most promoted and highly anticipated show in Samsung history since the Galaxy S III.

Would this device live up to all the hype and the hoopla it has created so far? I guess for now the consumers and all of the mobile industry will just have to wait and see what Galaxy S IV has to offer, which is only 7 days from now to be exact.
