I started venturing into BetOnMarket as a way generating some extra cash few weeks ago when I discovered that many Nigerians are into it. I must confess it is an interesting thing though quite different from forex. Forex is a business but I see BOM more or less like tossing a dice in a casino.
I can say it authoritatively that those who are trading forex will go on BOM betting successfully than those who did not know how to trade forex. Therefore, if you want to be successful with BOM, some knowledge about forex is highly essential.
To be successful in BOM, you must be familiar with some FOREX apparatus and terminologies;
1. You must know how to use MT4 platform
2. You must know how to determine a trend, whether it is up or down, especially what is called price action method. From my little experience with BOM, the best way to trade successfully is to understand price action method i.e. identification of a trend. If you don’t know anything about forex, YOU MUST KNOW THIS ONE in BOM.
3. You must know much better about support and resistance. If you bet near support or resistance, you may find it difficult to win the bet because support or resistance will slow down the movement of price around that region.
Honestly I tried my best possible in offering you my best strategy free of charge and I can say it that it is one of the best strategy to trade forex in the recent years. It has become the toast of BOM followers. I can even say it that some people are now repackaging it and place it for sale in FORUMS.

Nice writen, but I must add this. That is your strategy of trading BOM, but also there is another guide to trade even if you dont know what is called pip on forex and stil make your cool money.

@Chazim, let me quickly appreciate your comment above, I quickly ran thorough your blog and out of some points I have for you, I found one desirable here, at it is the fact the you agreed on your blog that 96% are constantly losing money to BOM. You opined that only 4% are actually making it with BOM. I think we are on the same page here where we differ is on solution to the problem.
Before any solution can be proffered, problems must be clearly stated. What is the shocking truth I discovered?
Yours broker are your number enemy, unlike forex, it is not to the happiness of your broker to see you winning your bet.
Alright, listen you must have come across any of the following statement from your brokers;
1. “System is busy”
2. “market is moving too quickly”
3. “Try again in 5 minutes”
4. “we can not correctly place price your bet”
5. “The price is to close to the daily high”
Waoh! You are now getting where I am coming from. Thank you. Ask those who are successful with BOM, they will tell you they get smarter along they way. If you too want to be making it from BOM betting, you need to get smarter.
The above quoted statements normally comes when a breakout happened and the market is moving fast. You want to trade for just 5minutes and your broker will come out with all sort of terrible excuses.
My discovery is that only few are making consistent money with smaller time frame. My advise is that you should not RUN BETS on smaller time frame. It is just my pure finding. If you are making money with run bet, it wont be long when they come harder on you and you can not properly monitor them like FOREX. I believed I am not speaking French here.

I have come to discover that so many people are doing RUN BETS on betonmarket. Runbet is a dangerous way of trading. It is a lucky-way of trading. Any profit made on runbet will soon be blown away the same way 'wind blows paper away'.

Please no matter how tempted you are, NEVER use runbet on smaller time frame. It will make you bankrupt faster than anything you know.

you can't trade in the first 1/2 hour, in fastish markets - the prices never appear-- and the "spreads" are massive.

BOM are not really a broker in the strict sense of the word, they are a licensed bookmaker who offer odds on events within financial markets. The odds they offer tend to be very poor and getting worse as time goes on. They also have a habit of changing their gaming rules on a fairly regular basis so if you do find a strategy that works the chances are the rules will change and a winning system will become a losing one. Their customer service is dreadful with their personnel demonstrating a clear and unhidden contempt for their Clients. My advice is steer well clear, or place bets on horses!!!
It is safer and better to build your capital little by little and see them grow into hundreds and thousands of dollars over time.
