For some while now, many (MTN Customers) in Lagos and environs have been having issues in calls and data browsing (BlackBerry Inclusive).

This explains MTN Normal Apology Letter which always goes on thieir Facebook page at MTN LoadedNG:


We apologize to all our customers in Lagos
and environs who might have been
experiencing difficulties in making and
receiving calls, or in accessing data on their
phones.
This service outage is due to a fibre failure,
which has disrupted traffic to some of our
hub sites. We are, however working hard to
restore services to the affected areas.
