For a movie to capture the attention of the viewer, villains are created to antagonise our heros/heroines. Some of them are a representation of pure evil, others are characters we love to hate while some are those that we don't still understand till now what drives them. Here is my list of favourite movie villains:
1. Christopher Waltz as 'Colonel Hans Landa' in 'Inglorious Basterds'.
2. Denzel Washington as 'Alonzo' in 'Training Day'.
3. Heath Ledger as 'The Joker' in 'Dark knight'.
4. Anthony Hopkins as 'Hannibal Lecter' in 'Silence of the Lambs'.
5. Monique in 'Precious'.
6. Louise Fletcher as 'Nurse Ratched' in 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest'.
7. Bryce Dallas Howard as 'Hilly Holbrook' in 'The Help'.
8.Jane Lynch as 'Sue sylvester' in 'Glee'.
9. Jessica Lange as 'Constance' in 'American Horror Story season 1'.

That badass villain in the movie"No Country For Old Men" played by Javier Barden with his rather eclectic means of finishing off his victims was pure evil in human form!
and on a lighter note..
Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movie franchise...
The Devil played by Al Pacino in the movie titled "The Devils Advocate".

Hans Landa in the movie Ingrateful Basterds is the best of them all!

I so much agree wiv d part of Hans Landa. He is my favourite. He wasn't 'completely evil' but a subtle kind of evil you would love to hate.

My favourite scenes were the first scene where he switched back to french from english to deceive his to-be victims and the scene where he met shosanna after many years and questioned her about the security of her cinema.

bros.... Chop knuckle o jare!

That french to english and english to french dialogue @ the beginning of the movie is a classic... Wahllai!
However, my favorite other scene was his dialogue with the German double agent.. Most especially where he burst into hysterical laughter when she said she'd just had a skiing accident.
Her subsequent quick death at his hands was a everything and a touch of class!!!
