It is indeed very expedient for us here on Nairaland to cultivate the habit of giving a second thought on any issue raise here before we begin to crucify. All liers shall perish!

It is true the students protested on the unfavourable policy and eventually the school was closed. But did the students go upstair to say the TRUTH?
*
frankly speaking, the hyperbole of 300K/400K as school fee is humiliating. An absolute ridicule to the pedigree of the institution! I confidently say it is a lie. It is only the present freshers that have their tuition fee over 200K. The old cagoes who are protesting today never paid up to 150. Only medical students pay 300K. So stop the lie that you are protesting because you pay 300k.

Let me give you the breakdown:
1: Gov Amosu did raise any policy for repeatition. It was acting VC Saburi that solely bent on the policy. He raised the policy and ready to die with the policy.
2. The reason for the policy:
it was the internal corruption among the staff that led to that policy. How can a student spend four years and not paid a dim? An insider will now ask him to pay N200k at 400L to get his clearance. From 100 to 400L, nothing will be paid into school account. This barbaric atrocity was discovered during Daniel tenure that led to mass retrenchment in 2009.
3. This present acting VC now discovered that even some outgoing 400L students have not paid their 100L tuition fee and yet preparing to graduate. If you are in his shoe, what will you do? He now said those who are preparing to graduate but yet to pay from 100L will have to repeat. This is a decision of the VC and not governor.
*
The lecturers who taught them from 100 had been paid but few percentage of them never paid. Dont you know they are fighting for INJUSTICE?
This is the truth! Some staff in the Bursary bargain with students not to pay. At 400L, they asked them to bring bribe for clearance. This is undemocratic!
.........
Pastor Seun, pls Frontpage to let people know the truth.
........
This is the truth story. Now judge the VC's decision......
