Got my a3 pro today, even though nipost and custom charged me 9k, special thanks to our president, oga lexus for his support. my concern is that the screen is not 5.7" because my last device leagoo m8 which is also 5.7" is bigger in shape and size, my friends Samsung s3 note which is also 5.7" is bigger. but a3 pro is more compact and sleek but me I like big screens. I will save more and get umi one 5.9"

There are ways to handle this tho.

Ask for the custom desk at the PO, every PO has one.

Ask them to recalculate the custom duties after showing them proof of how much the item cost.

If they tell you it can only be recalculated in Lagos, it's a lie.

Be very nice to them.

Your duties would be reduced to the actual price.

I begged with 2k that I have but it was declined. I think I will wait for AE refund due to no pick up but I am really pained because of how long I had to wait only for this custom issue to have happened. thanks for your concern boss

If you put in a claim for refund, it is expected that the goods would be sent back to the retailer (if they do or not, I would not know)...........

I have never opened a postal dispute through AE before, others might have a better solution..

Guys, please I need your advice. After waiting since November, I got to the post office today and I was told to pay 8, 380 as custom duty before I can take ownership. me I don't have that kind of money. I want to open dispute, Ali express asked me to wait till 23/1/2019 before I can open dispute under the category not yet received goods or I can open dispute now under category I have received goods with different sub categories. but I haven't received the goods and I can't wait again. oga lexus please help me sir

just tired of this country, my a3 pro has been in the airport since last Friday and I have visited post office twice, tracking says in sorting center. who do I blame? tired of waiting sef, I might sell it once it cleared and get something between now and tomorrow
