Our client, an engineering consulting firm delivering Technical Training, Recruitment Services, Outsourcing and general engineering consulting is in need of qualified candidates for the position of an Account Officer.

Job Summary/ Responsibilities

• Keeping Accounting/Financial records
• Banking Activities (Opening of accounts, reconciliation)
• Asset record keeping
• Payroll Administration
• Liaison with statutory bodies (i.e State and Federal tax authorities)
• Prepare weekly and monthly accounting reports
• Provide logistics support to other departments
• Administer tax matters
• Responsible for Pension Fund Administration
• Carry out sightseeing of purchased items before payment
• Any other duty as may be assigned by management


Qualification

• OND or its equivalent in Accounting or related.
• 1-2 years related experience in Finance & Accounts Department of a company
• Competence in the use of Accounting Software like Peachtree, etc.
• Versatile with Microsoft office word & excel
• Good personal and communication skills.
