lol what confused life? I don't even want to begin to attack christianity. Pray tell, what proof that Jesus is alive? Its beyond me, how a rational human being can still continue to believe in such tripe in this day and age. Prove to me that Jesus is alive and Ill renounce my belief system.

While this video is longwinded and not very deep ( you can see it for free on youtube) I think it is good that it has been made. Few 'christians' know anything about the origins of the faith they profess. That is why I recommend it, but then I recommend that they go further and study about the growth of christianity and also the religious movements that abounded at the turn of the millenium in judaea. Especially the various jewish movements. This will tremendously help to provide the context that many of us so obviously lack.

Example is me. I am a leaving proof that the Bible is a True word of God. I don't need to tell how I arrived at my conclusion. Do your own research. We do not force people to believe in our GOD, we are not like those who will kill if you don't believe in god e.g saul change to Paul in the Bible. This is exactly what I am trying to avoid. This post does not further the conversation in any way whatsoever. You say you're living (sic) proof, but I don't know you so that does not prove anything to me. I would presume that your reason for contributing to this thread is to share and testify. But when I hear you say that you don't need to tell me how you arrived at your conclusion I feel somewhat let down. So what is your motive for contributing.

What a fallacious argument May Kelly. You just proved how ignorant you are, I guess the bible states you should not be able to think for yourself or question your beliefs. Your a con man's wet dream.


The bible is pseudohistory written about stories and hearsay by "prophets", Moses wrote "Genesis"? anyways there might be "some" legitimate history concerning the book of kings and Chronicles but some of those accounts are contradictory. Other parts such as in Samuel, David did not actually kill Goliath, but rather Elhanan did, but of course David was the more famous character so the deed was ascribed to him and another Goliath was created who just happened to be living at the same time, problem solved by just making him his brother. You dont just make up history as you go along.
