Throughout countries in Africa there are staples in culture where young aged virgin girls are being raped as people believe it would cure them of Hiv/Aids...This has longed been a pandemic throughout Africa....and us only recently picking up traction.....the youngest recorded female to be raped to the knowledge I've developed was a month old...we all know Hiv/Aids is NOT cured by having unprotected sex with a virgin female...it is spread by sexual intercourse unprotected with someone who its infected(semen, vaginal secretion/fluids), blood(intravenous drug instruments, blood transfusion), breast milk(if infected )...having protected sex anal, oral, vaginal, and knowing your status can tremendously help prevent Hiv/Aids. These vicious sexual ideologies of raping virgins to cure the disease is pushing the overall Hiv/Aids conditions in Africa into a further catastrophic state.....the will and manpower given to this epidemic can be a moving force in all need we need to bring awareness , more help ,and resources
