Pls i am uploading my website, all the html files were displayed but all the images are not showing on the webpage, pls what could be wrong need ur help now, i am a beginner

that means you either did not upload the images or the images url are not well speficied, check the image urls.

Check if your image directory are correct or make sure u uploaded those picture.

thank u sir, i actually use net2ftp to upload all the files but only the images did not display, am confuse i dont know wat happened i have uploaded it for the third time now

Check your HTML files and make sure they point your images correctly.

This is a popular issue for people coming from a windows background.(Am assuming you designed your site on a windows machine and have uploaded to a linux server)

Now its important for you to know that linux servers are case-sensitive.For instance,on a Linux server,homepage.html,hOmepage.html and Homepage.html are all different webpages.On windows,all these url's will be the same.

To solve your problem,start by cross-checking your image url.(In most cases,all you may need to do is cross check folder names)

OR

If you dont have the time,simply enable mod_speling via Apache.To do this,you will need to be on a dedicated server or VPS account

Try to put the pictures in a folder within your website where u cn easily access it.

just my 2 cents,

why not post the link to the site,
so the experts here can easily figure out,
where the images are pointing
to the wrong location/directory.

Also, do check your server to verify that the images
are actually uploaded to the server.

this is a very simple task to resolve so don't panic

i just checked the site and it seen
that you did not upload the image folder
or if you are sure you did,you will have to
rename the folder/directory on your server to
"images" without the quote and may sure it's in the
public_html folder.

But i will recommend you verify that the pics were
uploaded successfully,confirm by navigating to the images folder
in your server and cross check the size of the images on your server with
the one on your local drive,if they are not the same, just
delete the folder from your server and re upload it again

Once you do that all will work fine

save all your images in a folder that you will name "images" then go to your link or destination where you have the images use this html code <img src="images/poster.jpeg/poster.png" width="150" height="120"> the width and height i use here has to be the one you have assigned to the images.

Your link shows that your images folder is not accessible.Simply Copy it from its present position and paste it in the public_html folder.Also make sure the folder permissions are set correctly.If you can create a proxy account via cpanel,I would help you rectify this issue.

to all the webmasters in the house, i appreciate ur effort. i have solved it, the prolem was that the server is linux while my job was done on window, so i called the place i registered the domain and hje told me how i shoul ujpload it, thank u all
